The Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) scholarship is a scholarship offered either over the summer or academic year. It is available to both undergraduate and graduate students that are studying a Middle Eastern language, such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, or Turkish. FLAS awards may be used for domestic or international study. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. To learn more, please visit our page about FLAS.
