The purpose of the Arabic Language & Culture Club is to promote the Arabic language and the cultures of the Arabic-speaking world. We aim to encourage individuals to learn and become involved with Arabic both as students in Arabic courses on campus as well as outside of class such as through studying abroad or interacting with other Arabic speakers elsewhere. Additionally, we seek to cultivate a greater understanding of the Arabic language and the cultural backgrounds of the Arabic-speaking world among the communities of the University of Arizona and Tucson.

The Sudanese American Wildcats Association is a student group that aims to provide any Sudanese student enrolled at the University of Arizona an environment in which they may meet and socialize with other Sudanese students and organize activities to promote knowledge and awareness about Sudan (i.e. celebrating national events, fundraising for Sudanese causes, hosting a Sudanese movie night). This will strengthen the local Sudanese community while also allowing non-Sudanese an opportunity to learn about. the country and its people.
