We are offering a spring trip to learn about Morocco, a wonderful, diverse country that is a crossroads of North African, European, and Middle Eastern civilizations.

We are offering a fall trip to learn about the layered history and culture of Bosnia, led by our very own Balkan historian.

Tucson Community Resources
There are numerous resturants, markets, and cultural centers across the Tucson area which all specialize on resources for the MENA region.

Since CMES has been forced to operate remotely in light of COVID-19, we have supplemented our support for the local community with additional resources to visit virtually. You'll find likes to free, open-source resources like podcasts, archives, newspapers, map collections, music, and more.
