5:15 – 6:00: Where/how to find good internationally-themed literature for your classroom
6:00 - 6:45: Groups: Presentation of selected lessons/books for grades middle school classes using Latin American-themed literature / presentation of selected lessons/books for high school classes using Middle East-themed literature
6:45 - 7:00: Get your dinner (catered) and take it to your next group activity
7:00 - 7:45: Groups: Presentation of selected lessons/books for middle school classes using Middle East-themed literature / presentation of selected lessons/books for high school classes using Latin American-themed literature
7:45 - 8:15: Working in pairs/small groups, explore books from the collections. Choose 1 or 2 and discuss how to integrate those works into your classroom.
8:15 - 8:30: Sharing ideas with the whole group
