The University of Arizona's School of Middle Eastern and North African Studies (MENAS) and the Arabic Linguistics Society are pleased to announce the ASAL34 will be hosted here at the University of Arizona. The conference will be held February 28 - March 1, 2020, at the Student Union Memorial Center.
This event will feature keynote speakers, such as:
  • Rania Habib, Associate Professor, Syracuse University, USA
  • Mohamed Embarki, Professor, Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France
  • Samira Farwaneh, Associate Professor, University of Arizona, USA
  • Ahmad Alqassas, Assistant Professor, Georgetown University, USA

​In addition, there will be eleven separate sessions dedicated to certain subfields of Arabic linguistics, in addition to a poster session.
