This first installment of the Oriental Institute Map Series presents seven "site maps" covering Egypt, Sudan, The Levant, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, and Iran, locating primary archaeological sites, modern cities, and river courses set against a plain background.

The British Library Digital Collections
The British Library hosts several collections of 19th and 20th century maps organized by continent.

David Rumsey Map Collection 
A digital collection of around 100,000 maps and map-related resources from the 16th to 21st centuries. The physical collection is housed at the Stanford University Library.

Harvard University Library Digital Collections
The Harvard Library hosts several digital map and map-related collections including geological, thematic, topographic, and pictorial maps among others.

Koç University Ankara Map and Plan Archive
The administrative, political and geographical position of Ankara and its surroundings from early times to the present day can be seen through the maps in this collection, while the capital’s planning process can be followed through maps, plans and map sections from the Republican Era.

Leiden University Overview of Digital Sources for the Study of the Ottoman Empire and Republic of Turkey
Nicole van Os has compiled 50+ page PDF list of archives, periodicals, maps and other visual materials, podcasts, secondary literature, laws, calendars, and much more. All are related to the Ottoman Empire or Republic of Turkey and many, if not most, are open access.

Qatar Digital Library Map Collection
The Qatar Digital Library hosts over a thousand maps of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as Eastern Africa.

University of Melbourne Digital Map Collection
The University of Melbourne hosts an online archive of maps and map-related resources of Asia Minor produced between the 15th and 19th centuries.

University of Texas - Austin Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection
The massive PCL Map Collection includes more than 250,000 maps, with just under 30% available online.

World Digital Library 
Though not enormous, the WDL hosts a diverse collection of maps of the world.
