CMES is pleased to announce that Dr. Laura Goffman will be the new Assistant Professor of Health Studies of the Middle East and North Africa in the School of Middle Eastern & North African Studies at the University of Arizona. Dr. Goffman recently received her PhD from the Department of History at Georgetown University. This newly created position, leveraged with CMES’ US Department of Education Title VI funds, will start in Fall 2020. We welcome Dr. Goffman to the University of Arizona and look forward to working with her in the near future!
