The Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) scholarship is a scholarship offered either over the summer or academic year. It is available to both undergraduate and graduate students that are studying a Middle Eastern language, such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, or Turkish. FLAS awards may be used for domestic or international study.
