The Center arranges for graduate students to give
guest lectures in classes at local schools, community colleges,
and to interested community groups requesting a speaker. As appreciation
for conducting outreach for the Center, CMES credits each student
$100 toward educational expenses (books, supplies, etc.) per outreach
visit.
If you are interested in participating in
the Speakers Bureau, please contact Lisa
Adeli, CMES Outreach Coordinator, at 621-7904. UA undergraduate
students with requisite qualifications may also participate in the
Speakers Bureau activities. If you are a UA undergraduate student
interested in participating, please contact Christian Sinclair as well.
If you are teacher or a community group, and you would like a speaker to visit your group and talk on any middle
eastern topic, please contact Lisa Adeli.
