The Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) is a unit within the newly-established School of Middle Eastern and North African Studies (MENAS) at the University of Arizona. Other units within MENAS are the Middle East Studies Association (MESA), the American Institute for Maghrib Studies (AIMS), and the Southwest Initiative for the Study of Middle East Conflict (SISMEC).

CMES also works closely with the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies.
