Reception, Middle Eastern Music, Merchandise Fair

Proceeds from the CMES fundraiser go to support the study of Middle Eastern languages. This includes language resource acquisition, maintenance of the language lab, and scholarships for UA undergraduates who are study Middle Eastern languages...both at UA and abroad.

CMES will be selling books from and about the Middle East, ceramic mugs and T-shirts with the CMES logo and UA design in Middle Eastern languages, beautifully enlarged photos from region, postcards, calendars, and much more!

Henna Party

Join CMES for a henna party on UA Reading Day. Henna supplies will be provided, along with henna design ideas from around the world. Come bring your friends, tattoo each other or yourself while listening to Middle Eastern music and enjoying refreshments.
